Donate Your Change
It's an idea by a Harvard professor that expressed his charitable beliefs to a classroom with non believers. The question raised was can 50 cents make a difference is someone's life? Is donating just a few cents going to make a persons life better? How could just a few pennies help a family in need, or help a veteran with housing, or maybe a blind person in need of a guide dog? Just a few cents really can't help anyone can it? The question becomes much larger when a community comes together though right? If I came to you now and asked for 50.00 for a veteran who lost everything and you said you couldn't afford it, that would make you feel terrible wouldn't it? But if I came to you and asked for 50 cents to help that same veteran in need you would probably give that to me and feel pretty good about it wouldn't you? Let's not focus on you for a second, that's the problem our society is facing. Let's focus on the person or pet in need for a moment. They are not coming to you and asking for the money, they are to proud for that to happen. It's a middleman someone like me that's not going to ask you twice. If it takes you longer then 5 seconds to decide you can't afford to help someone with 50 cents how does that make you feel?
This Is a Social Experiment
It's only been written about once and advertised once right here. By seeing this would you make a donation? Would you share this on social media? If not why? Do you not donate to others in need? Are you a self centered person that only cares about you and only you? But you do care about others don't you? Though this is a social study we wanted to make you think, maybe not to hard though. Does giving back make you feel better about ones self or does not giving to a good cause give you refuge? The whole point in this little experiment actually goes further into your soul and makes you think, and that's what we wanted to do. This isn't life changing it's more got to do with someone's lack of apathy. Is it a lack of emotion you have within you that can't reach out to others. It's in everyone's DNA that goodness prevails isn't it? Weren't we put on this earth to help others? Maybe your life is in disarray, your mind is telling you one thing but you can't act on the better half of your emotions. If you were to describe to yourself the difference in the two feelings one being a giver and the other being a taker. When you look in the mirror and say to yourself it makes sense to help or not to help how do you feel? Are you predicated in a stance that your taking, and does this affirm yourself in the beliefs you stand for. We didn't want you to think of yourself as a bad person if you couldn't donate, that's not what this is about. Though what we wanted to do is hopefully help some less fortunate people that need your assistance. I asked a person in line buying a coffee if they could spare some change as a small experiment, I asked them for 25 cents to donate to a local veteran who is living on the side of the road and needs help. She said I was a nut for asking anyone for money, and I had no right to. The person behind her was a young man maybe early 20's who looked like he was hurting for money and he instantly gave me a 10,00 bill. I told the young man that because of his generosity that this veteran could eat 3 meals now and he said nothing. You could see how he felt when I told him about the vets situation and was smiling. You could see that it made him feel good to give. As I walked towards the door another young man approached me and asked how he could help, I said you don't have to give anything but every little bit counts and he gave me 50 cents hence this is why this social experiment started.
Is It Good For The Soul To Give
Does it make you a better person to help people in need or a family in need? Your probably a good person now but by helping others does your soul feel better-do you get inner peace? Does it bring out the goodness on ones body, will it carry on in your life or is it a one time shot? There is a phrase, I would have-I could have-I should have. In our life we all have taken that Y in the road where we should of went the other way, but your here because your life was not determined by others it was determined by you. The choices you make can sometimes help you to be a better person. It's not a myth that you discovered this page, it's a choice. Maybe this goes viral maybe not but were glad you took the time to read this, maybe you will share it with some friends. The Go Fund Me Page Is the picture above please click it Enough Said.
